| I got back from FL last week and it was good to just go and relax on the beach. My grandma is doin amazingly well for having cancer for the 3rd time and God is healing her. The doctors are amazed because they've never seen anything like it and it's really kool that my grandma is such an awesome witness and testimony of God to the medical community around her through God's miraculous healing of her. My dreads are lookin pretty sweet and i'm happy with them, they've been in now for a month and they're starten to thiken a little and tighten up which is a good thing. Taking care of them is a pain right now, but that'll change in a month or so and it's kool to watch them grow into mature dreadlocks. | | |
| well the newest thing thats happened with me is that I finally got my dreadlocks after wanting them for 6yrs or so I fianlly decided to go ahead and just get them done and I'm glad I did cause they look sweet. I still need a job and am getting frustrated with the whole thing, but oh well. I'm living with my friend James at our appartment here in springfield and it's pretty kool, I really enjoy being out on my own and not worrying about curfew or stupid stuff like that... I went and saw Otep in concert with Static X and that show was absolutely amazing Otep is an amazing band and I'm glad I finally got the chance to see them live. nothing else has really been going on, I'll update again in a couple weeks when I get back from Daytona Beach FL and Toronto Canada. | | |
| I'm done with all my finals now it's time to pack and get stuff ready to move into my new appartment for the summer. I NEED A JOB so if anyone has any ideas let me know. | | |
| hmm so life so far has been getting interesting. School is almost done and I have no real clue what I am going to do in regards to where i'll be staying. I'd really like to stay here in springfield and work with my church and stuff, but if I go back and live with my parants, it will be a living hell cause I hate Joplin so much, however there will be no bills to worry about which is a pretty good thing. I really want to figure out a way to stay here in springfield if at all possible, but I'm still a little worried about what the near future will hold... I've made some really good friends here at CBC this semester which is awesome cause I never thought I'd really make too many of them however it will be interesting because everyone seems to be going back home so I won't see them till next semester which will be difficult because this will be my 2nd summer without any friends and last year was misurable up untill the end. I just hope it's better this time around cause there is no going back home to TX for me from now on for various reasons particularly it's time for me to move on to the next stage in life and leave those that are staying stagnant and not doing anything with their lives behind... There is one friend of mine that I feel so blessed to know, she reminds me so much of the kind of people I hung out with in TX and it's kool to know that I'm not the only one that has a thing for getting tattoos and piercings and likes my hair dyed unnatural colors. Her and I have a very similar calling in life it seems which is also strange for me to find that here at CBC, it's a comforting thing to know that there is someone out there who has a heart for the streets and inner city and is as passionate about spreading the gospel to those people as I am.... hmm I hate CBC I need to get away I think it's just the fact that everyone and their grandmothers are hookin up here and it just annoys me. | | |
